The 30th edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults (IFFCY) held in historic Iranian city of Isfahan has announced its lineup for Iranian Cinema.
The selection committee has selected 11 films, including ‘The Skater’ directed by Fereydoun Najafi, ‘The Legend of Golabad’ directed by Mohammadreza Abbasnejad, and ‘Twenty and One Days Later’ directed by Seyyed-Mohammadreza Kheradmandan.
‘End of Dreams’ directed by Mohammad-Ali Talebi, ‘The White Bridge’ directed and produced by Ali Qavitan, ‘40 Balds’ directed by Sadeq Sadeq-Daqiqi, and ‘The Thief and Pari – 2’ directed by Hossein Qena’at are also in the lineup.
The list of Iranian films goes on with ‘The Color Chocolate’ directed by Soheil Movaffaq, ‘Little Heroes’ directed by Hossein Qena’at, ‘Kati and Setareh’ directed by Reza Majlesi, as well as ‘Wild Rosa Caninas’ directed and produced by Rahbar Qanbari.
The selection committee for Iranian Cinema section is comprised of Gholamreza Ramezani, Sirous Hassanpour, Azita Hajian and Javad Hatami.
The International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults is annually organized by Farabi Cinema Foundation in affiliation with the Iranian Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs.
It is an event that celebrates films made for children and youth. The festival supports emerging filmmakers with innovative cinematic visions and ideas. It is also an event that serves as a platform for professionals to come together and exchange ideas.
The 30th edition of IFFCY will be held from June 30 to July 6, 2017 in the Iranian city of Isfahan.
